Here is a list of responsibilities for new account managers:
- Develop new advertising accounts:
- Strategize with clients on how best WPHT can help them
- Create opportunities for advertisers in Phillies play-by-play broadcasts.
- Work with the talent for endorsement campaigns
- Digital sales which includes streaming, banner ads, links, pre + post roll
- On site promotions

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
“The Big Talker” WPHT 1210-AM is seeking interns for upcoming semesters. The Internships are open to Communications & Marketing students, but also, English, Journalism, Liberal Arts and Business majors.
This is an exciting opportunity for students interested in the business of radio, marketing and promotions, to get their feet wet at a radio station that’s owned by one of the nation’s largest broadcasting companies.
Qualified candidates must possess:
· Excellent writing and communication skills
· Responsible and hard working, good work ethic
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced work environment
· Willing to work on-site events – which includes weekends
Responsibilities includes the following:
· Prepare packages for on-air personalities for on-site events
· Assist Marketing Director and Promotion Director with station promotions
· Assist in distribution of press releases
· Help coordinate promotional contests and distribution of prizes
· Represent radio station at on-site events – hand out promotional items and other Big Talker 1210 AM prizes
