Former Phillies legend  Mitch “Wild Thing” Williams will host THE WILD PITCH WITH MITCH WILLIAMS prior to Philadelphia Phillies regular and post season broadcasts Mondays through Thursdays.

During Phillies home games, Williams will broadcast live from Citizen’s Bank Park beginning 60 minutes before the start of the game. THE WILD PITCH WITH MITCH WILLIAMS will consist of in-depth analysis of the previous games played and a look ahead to the game to come. Williams will take calls from listeners and give his honest opinions on the game and the team.

Williams is perhaps the most well known pitcher in Phillies history. "Wild Thing," as he came to be known, threw the infamous home run pitch to the Blue Jays’ Joe Carter which won the World Series for Toronto in 1993. Williams took that notoriety and turned it into a career as a baseball analyst, authority and commentator that Phillies fans have come to love.
