HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) Gov. Ed Rendell has ordered that U.S. and
state flags be flown at half-staff at all state government
facilities as a tribute to the victims of the shootings at Fort
Hood.
Rendell said Friday that the flags will remain lowered until
Wednesday, which is Veterans Day.
The governor said Pennsylvanians' thoughts and prayers are with
the victims of Thursday's shootings in Texas, which claimed 13
lives and left 30 other people wounded.
The suspect, Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, was
wounded by police and was in a coma Friday.
